Free International Travel Guides – The Best For Where You’re Going

Ah, the age of information… nowadays folks are binging on information, yet starving for knowledge. Rather than wade through countless websites in search of solid advice, I’ve done the leg work for you by compiling the best free international travel guides out there today. The format of online guides differ from their tangible counterparts; where a book must include information you need before and during your trip, online travel guides provide the ability to get exactly what you need, when you need it.

Several times I have used an online guide book, and merely printed (or jotted down in my notebook) the most important info for the next few days. Here’s my list of the best free international travel guides: There is no single source for travelers to Southeast Asia better than Travelfish. Loaded with easy to navigate information on the entire region, including Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Singapore, Travelfish covers all the travelers’ needs. The forum is really well done, and you can expect a high level experience from those who respond to your questions. Most of the information is free, and they do offer e-guides for each country at roughly $5 (a true bargain).

Lonley Planet’s Thorn Tree Forum. Very much like the forum on Travelfish, but with global coverage. I’m a firm believer that guide books are generally outdated by the time they hit the press, and it’s important to get from the road advice from someone who is there. Visa requirements change, roads are closed, violence happens…don’t get caught unprepared. Forums also provides advice you’ll never find in a guidebook, either: the need for bribes, history of violence, etc. These are important considerations in the real world that most publications (and governments) tend to gloss over.

Lonley Planet. Though they haven’t implemented it, LP has come up with the brilliant notion of offering a “pay as you go” program where you can choose portions of a guide book and pay for that part only. Keep an eye out on their website for the release date. There are many international travel guides available on this site, and one could spend a lifetime discoveroporto searching through their network. A really good network for travelers, with independent travel blogs for a more personal approach.

These three are far and away the best online source for free international travel guides, and I suggest you research your destination with these both prior to and during your trip.

In conclusion, you can learn more about international travel guides [] at []

Tips for Starting Your Own External Business Blog

Starting a blog for you business offers many advantages for all types of companies. A blog for your business can help to establish a better reputation for your brand as well as promote awareness about your business. An external blog, however, can achieve that and more. These types of blogs help to increase the amount visitors to your website by way of valuable content marketing and better search engine optimization (SEO).

Before we get too enthralled by the benefits of external blogging, let’s observe the fundamentals of what actually constitutes an “external business blog.”

External Business Blogs: Defined

An external blog is a content publishing website that is a separate domain from the actual website of a business. Where an internal blog is a part of a website’s domain (“”), an blogs that are external are their own entity (“”).

Blogs for businesses often target a specific niche or topic that relates to the company in some way. Additionally, some external business blogs are even designed to include similar brand elements of the business. There many ways to start an external blog for your business, but what is truly important for almost any type of blog is having a very distinct focus that captures the interests of a very targeted audience.

Focus Your Blog’s Theme

Most broad-based blogs that cover many different subjects fail to retain a consistent readership and a loyal following. This signifies the importance to really carve a niche for your blog and really narrow the overall theme of the blog’s content.

For example, if law firm is developing a blog for its legal practice, the topic should be focused on a specific area of law. In a legal context, this concept could be taken to great extremes, for a business law firm could create a blog dedicated solely to bankruptcy litigation or creditor’s rights law.

The key is to understand the nature of the target audience and they type of content they find value in reading. Before launching any type of blog, take some time to absorb who and what the content will emphasize. Does the target audience appear large enough? Can valuable content be produced that will generate interest? Does the idea behind the blog offer sustainable value?

A general tip to remember before getting started is always create a blog with a purpose and only publish content that offers value.

Develop Goals for Your Blog

All blogs, both internal and external, should have a goal. One of the most common goals for business blogs is to attract relevant readers (with compelling content) and funnel those readers to the business’s website. This practice is known as content marketing, and it helps to establish credibility and trust in a business so the readers will react more positively when considering the company as a solution to their needs.

Another common goal for external business blogs centers on the practices of search engine optimization. The success of a SEO campaign often hinges on the popularity and credibility of a website. This is where an external business blog can help.

In SEO, links pointing to a website are like votes of popularity. A well optimized website with quality links directing to its webpages will often be recognized as popular to the search engines, and thus deserving of a higher ranking. Building links from an external blog is one of the easiest and highly effective techniques to generate “link popularity” for SEO and achieved greater rankings in the search engine results.

A blog for a business can also serve as a solid tool for branding and building more awareness in the market. This idea coincides with content marketing; however the difference is having less call to action and more interaction. Unlike marketing-focused blogs that seek to inform and direct readers to take action, blogs for branding can be fun retreats for Internet users while offering creative and enlightening content.

Blog On, Dude

While developing a blog for your business, don’t be afraid to exploit some creativity and enjoyment. If you are truly passionate about your profession, you will love managing your blog casha and sharing ideas and information with your readers. Just remember to build your blog with a purpose (and with goals,) and keep your content fresh, valuable, and focused on your niche.

1. Make a decision to create a blog

This is one of the most important steps to online blogging success. It is easy to talk about what you want to do. But sometimes the fear of not knowing all the steps prevents you from making the decision to start. Don’t worry about the “how”. You must first make the decision to start your online business by creating a blog. The “how” will come once the decision is made.

2. Choose your niche

Decide what your blog will be about. What kind of business do you want to start? What are your passions and interest? What are you good at? What do people come to you for all the time?

At this point, it is necessary to conduct keyword research. Take the answers to the above questions and determine if and how many people are searching for these keywords online. Create a running list of keywords that have high demand (lots of searches) and low supply (small number of competing websites). Use your keyword research to narrow your blog niche.

3. Determine your ideal client

Who do you want to reach when creating your blog? Your message and information should resonate with a particular group people. Determining who your ideal client is will help you create a blog that speaks to them. You must speak their language if you want them to listen to you are saying.

Conduct research to find your ideal client’s pain points. What keeps them awake at night? What questions are they seeking answers for? Your blog should become the solution to their biggest problems in your niche.

4. Choose and buy a domain name and hosting

Based on the name of your business, your keywords and your niche, choose a domain name for your blog. This is the URL people will type in to find your blog online. It would be ideal to use keywords in your domain name. But it is not mandatory. However, you do want to choose a domain that is short, easy to remember and easy to spell.

How to Start a Money Making Blog and Be Sure of Blogging Success

How to Start a Money Making Blog

Anyone can setup a blog and start writing content, but only a few of those blogs ever develop into money making enterprises that generate significant income streams. If you want to know how to start a money making blog then read on…
There are fundamental differences between starting a blog and starting a blog that will end up being seen by thousands if not hundreds of thousands of visitors every month.

The key to running a successful blog is in how you set your blog up in the beginning. There are several key components to blogging success;

  • Choosing a Profitable Niche
  • Choosing the right Blogging Platform
  • Choosing the most suitable URL
  • Structuring your Content
  • Optimizing your Content for Search
  • Writing Quality Content
  • Publishing on a Regular Basis
  • Promoting your Blog Posts
  • Monetizing your Content

Choosing a Profitable Niche

This is a fundamental that many people get wrong from the beginning. If you are going to ever make money from your blog, then it needs to be about something that already has a following.

You the Google Keyword Tool to look for existing traffic related to your Niche and study the numbers closely. When you use the keyword tool, opt for ‘exact match’ search terms as this gives precise figures of traffic for the exact phrase or keyword that you are typing in.

You are looking for exact match numbers of over 12,000 per month if you want to ever see an income from your blog. If you log into a Google account when using the keyword tool you will be able to see 800 results rather than 100 not logged in, and this will give you a good basis for potential blog post topics in the future.

Your goal is to rank first in Google for all of these terms and phrases. It is highly unlikely that you will ever achieve that ambition, I don’t think that anyone ever has, but that is your ultimate aim.

Once you have potential viable niches in mind, you need to think about your passion.

Without a passion for the subject that you are going to blog about, you will struggle to create high quality content on a long term basis. Blogging needs to be a passion if you are going to succeed. If you choose a niche without having a passion for it, you will eventually run out of steam and lose interest.

Choosing the Right Blogging Platform

It is vital that you choose the right blogging platform if you are going build a money making blog. Some platforms are better than others.

We recommend WordPress as it has a proven structure that is search engine friendly, is easy to setup and install and offers a large variety of free and paid design and functionality options.

Why I Love Blogging

People blog for many reasons. Originally, I started my blog the end of 2013 as an author platform.

But as time passed, I realized my blog provided much more than an author platform and it wasn’t all about the numbers. Blogging served a different and more profound purpose. I would even say that it’s changed the way I look at and live my life.

That’s why if you’re thinking about starting a blog, I’d highly recommend it. That is, if you’re blogging for the right reasons.

If you’re starting a blog to get rich or even to eke out a living, well, don’t count on it. Monetizing a blog is super hard these days. In fact, after three years, I’m still not making money from my blog. By the way, don’t believe all the hype from people selling online courses that try to convince you blogging is a great way to make passive income. Make no mistake, writing and promoting a blog is a ton of work. There is nothing passive about it.

In fact, it’s so easy to get frustrated when you first start a blog. As a technically-challenged person, I had to learn WordPress. Then, I spent a lot of time promoting my blog and trying to find an audience. Something else I knew little about. As with most bloggers, I quickly became obsessed – and depressed – with the numbers and how many visitors, subscribers, and Facebook followers I had on any given day. Turns out building up readership for a blog takes a LOT of time, effort, and patience.

So Why Blog?

Some people may disagree with me, but I think blogging shouldn’t just be about making money, drumming up business, gathering a huge following, chasing fame, or trying to sell books.

Blogging can serve as a creative channel to voice ideas, thoughts, opinions, beliefs, and feelings. On top of that, writing a blog provides a wonderful opportunity to inspire and touch the lives of other people in a positive way.

How Blogging Changed My Life

My blog has certainly seen me through many ups and downs these past few years. I’ve written about joyful moments like a trip to Chicago with my husband to celebrate our anniversary, a day spent playing in the snow with my grandchildren, watching Paul McCartney and the Rolling Stones at Desert Trip, and a quick weekend trip with my kids to San Francisco.

I’ve also poured my heart out while caregiving for my Mom who suffered from Lewy Body dementia and wrote about her eventual death. I shared my angst when my mother-in-law died from ovarian cancer and my son went through a painful divorce and custody battle that same year. (Ironically, shortly after I started writing a blog about happiness, I had the worst year of my life.)

Yes, I love reading, which provides a welcome respite from my troubles, but writing is my real escape, outlet, and passion. When I write, I become so focused, my problems fade away for awhile, giving me a much needed break. In fact, if you’re truly a writer, believe me, it is a life-long addiction!

Health Insurance Options to Consider for Your Children

Today there are many health insurance options available for children. Having the right coverage for your child is extremely necessary, particularly with the cost of care rising sharply. The importance of insurance for young ones is frequently overlooked. Comparing insurance coverage and prices will ensure the best insurance for your kid.

Individual policies for health insurance are an available option for children of individuals who are not eligible for employment-based group coverage. It is very reasonable to obtain insurance coverage for younger kids. The best value in insurance coverage for them is one rich in preventative and office treatment. For instance, many plans have well child checkups and physicals that include lab work. When considering options for them, a health savings plan is also available. These types of coverage are usually perfect, as they often include dental and vision along with preventive care. Information on this type of coverage is available through most major insurance companies.

There are various options available and coverage to consider depends largely on the child’s health and needs. A program option to consider is a PPO health plan if your child has a primary doctor. If a more affordable alternative is desired, then a HMO health plan may be a better choice. Since, their insurance programs are similar to many adult health insurance plans, it is an option to add children to their parents plan as part of a family health plan marketplace insurance.

Federally funded programs also provide health insurance options. A majority of states offer health options for children, especially when their parents do not have insurance through their employer, and cannot manage to pay for an individual plan for their child. A child may qualify for low-cost or free health insurance coverage through the state’s health insurance program. These types of insurance programs in general cover a variety of benefits. These are comprehensive insurance plans that cover a wide range of health care and dental care.

The income requirements are what make it possible for families to get low cost or no-cost health insurance for their kids. The state programs offer this low-cost health coverage up to age of 19 for eligible children. This program pays for visits to the doctor, required hospital stays and prescriptions. However, all states have various rules and benefits for this program. Eligibility requirements go according to the family’s income and size to determine if the child qualifies. Normally a short application is all that is required.

It is important to be aware of the differences involving health coverage options. No matter what plan is best for your children’s health needs it is essential that the coverage be in place. Comparing insurance policies and quotes will ensure the right best coverage is selected for your child.

Blogging for Beginners – 5 Facts You Must Know

A lot of useful tips have been written by different people on blogging for beginners to help the complete beginner to blogging build a successful blog.

The 5 facts you must know about blogging are some hard truth that don’t get talked about too often but that are critical to your blogging success.

The aim is not to scare you from التسويق الالكتروتى blogging, but to give you all the facts so that you make an informed decision and commit to it.

Blogging for beginners Fact 1: Blogging requires time and commitment

Before starting a blog especially if it is to make money from home you want to be sure that you have the time and energy to commit to it and grow your readership.

What you will mostly be doing are:

Providing valuable content on your blog on a regular basis, ideally once everyday but not less than three times a week if you intend to grow regular readership.

You also would be generating votes for your content. It’s called link building. You link build when other related sites link to your blog or a particular post on your blog, vice versa.

When your blog get some quality links from other sites, the search engine consider your blog as important. So it helps your content ranking at search engines which eventually equals traffic (daily visitors) to your site.

These are the two major but not only task you have ahead and they both requires time. Even when you have the time, if you fail to create a balance between these two activities, your blog will lack.

Meaning you can’t spend all your time writing content and forget about building links to those content else you would have a blog full of valuable content but no one to read them.

On the other hand if you spend too much time chasing links to your site and neglect content writing (which is worse), you will have visitors come to your blog but leave immediately as they came.

Blogging is a very rewarding work from home business. There are people making 6 income figures from it. But to get from a zero level (nave blogger) to a successful blogger requires time, knowledge, dedication and patience.

Not one of those qualities must be lacking, else you would have to consider another work from home venture.

Blogging for beginners Fact 2: Know your Market

I consider this the most important part of this article which is not usually emphasized enough as it should.

This step either make or mare your blogging success.

Just like every other business, you must know the market you want to venture into before actually doing so.

Your market in the blogging world is the niche or topic you have chosen to write on.

It means you must carry out an effective research of your market to gather all the necessary data that you will need to make an informed decision.

After looking deep into a topic, you might realize that it is just not profitable enough to pursue it.

Here are the data you need to gather and evaluate before going for a topic.

The Monthly searches for the topic: Are there people searching for information on the topic? If yes how many? Is it high enough to bring you good monthly traffic?

He who has the traffic has the web.

The competition for the topic: The people already publishing online for that topic are your competitors. How many are they? There is always a room for another blog or website on the web. But you have to be realistic. As a beginner to blogging, your chances of topping the already existing sites on that topic are low, especially if they are well established authority sites.

Moreover, you easily make your mark when the competition is low or fair.

Pick out hundreds of profitable keywords: If you are writing on relationship for example, make a list of all the keywords that fall under relationship that you can write about. These keywords will form your blog’s overall content.

So after creating your blog you don’t fuse about what next to write on. You just go to your list and pick a keyword and write on it.

This way you build valuable focused keyword rich pages.

The Monetization options available to you: It will be heartbreaking to put all the effort into achieving a high number of readership only to realize that you topic can’t be monetized with the major monetization models.

So first ask yourself: What are the monetization models you will like to apply on your blog? Then make sure the topic you are going for can be profitably monetized with those options.

If AdSense (pay per click content ads) is a must for your blog’s monetization, then you want to make sure that the Cost Per Click for your topic and its closely related sub-topics (keywords) are above $1. But preferable $2 above if this would be a primary monetization model for you.

If you would like to sell third party products, then check places like clickbank to see that there are relevant books available to monetize your blog with.

Spy on your competitors: Is there a monetization model your competitor uses that appeal to you? How are your competitors addressing the topic? Maybe there is a better angle you can address it from.

Get general ideas but DO NOT copy your competitor’s work. Let their work give you ideas to better position yourself in the niche, in other to stand out from the crowd.

All these research and more are needed for you to make an informed decision about your blog’s topic. We have passed the time when just your passion for a topic can bring you success in it.

Especially if you are considering blogging for business, gathering all these data before even buying a domain (comes last after thorough research) and setting up your blog, will help you maximize profit from your market and topic.

There is always a difference between a site that was planned and the one that wasn’t and this will be evidence in the number of regular readership and traffic.

Blogging for beginners Fact 3: Keep It Real

In whatever you will do relating to your blog, always keep it real. Let things work naturally. Always at all times consider the two most important people to your blog success – Your readers and the search engines.

Some of the sites that will link to your content will require a link back. Do not just link to a site because of the benefit it will bring to your ranking. Link to a site because it offers value to your readers. And your readers will be grateful.

When you promote a product, make sure it actually offers your readers benefits. Do not just promote for the commission you get as a result.

If you try to take the fast root to the detriment of your readers and search engines, chances are that your blog will not go all the way.

Build honesty and credibility among your readers and good things will naturally happen to you.

Blogging for beginners Fact 4: Do be in a Hurry to Monetize your blog

This is very common with Blogging beginners. Once they set up their blog, the next thing is to monetize.

While there is nothing wrong about this it could distract you from what is at that moment important – building content and getting traffic.

It makes no sense to monetize a site with zero traffic.

I remember when I started my first blog. I added AdSense immediately and everyday I always check my AdSense account to see if I had made some money. But since I had no traffic, what I always saw was $00.00 which always brings down my spirit to move forward with my writing.

So build some content first. Then some traffic, before monetizing. That way you can start making money in your first month of monetizing your blog.

Traffic equals money

Blogging for beginners Fact 5: Build Relationships

Familiarize yourself with fellow bloggers especially of related niche. You can do this just by commenting regularly on their blog.

Building relationships with bloggers in your niche could bring some good deals. And you never know when you need a favor.

It is easier to ask for a favor from a friend than from a stranger.
